Words: Thank you, please, cow, cat, dog, milk, hi, bye bye, car, ball, horsey, chicken, cracker, bottle, kiss, touch down, shoes, hat, up, sit down,
Animal Sounds: moo, heeeeeeee (horse), chick chick chick, meOW, woof woof
What he LOVES: to dance and sing, running away from mom, playing horsey while singing the lone ranger song, throwing balls for the dogs, rolling cars while making vroom noises on all surfaces of the house and on people, helping cooking, help vacuum and cook dinners, swimming and blowing bubbles in his nightly bath, blowing kisses
He's growing and changing every day. Such a fun thing to witness.
Last night at bed time, I told him 'Quinn it's time for night night.' He looked at me and his dad and then started quickly down the hall to his room saying 'night, night, night'. I followed him into his room and when he got to his crib, he looked at me with his arms extended upward and said, 'up'. I picked him up and he gave me the biggest hug before I laid him down. He pulled the covers over himself and blew me a kiss. 'Night mama.' My heart melted right there. I turned off the light and shut the door behind me. I took a snapshot of this moment in my mind and will remember it always.

Family Vacation and other Summer Fun
As Summer comes to a close and the Dobrowolskis welcome the brisk mornings of the Fall, we remember all the great times we had over the last month. Here are some pictures of those great times and memories.
We enjoyed weekends at Detroit Lake, camped in Spokane and spent a week with family and friends at Black Lake, Idaho.
Adam's place of employment closed their doors a few weeks ago, so we are actively seeking plan b - a scary, but exciting adventure. Keep us in your prayers.

Quinn's First Birthday!
This week has been full of fun times and memories. Last weekend we had some visitors Joel and Ardeth come to meet Quinn from Southern California. On Wednesday, Quinn turned ONE and Adam and I thru him a mini party with just the three of us. On Saturday we celebrated cowboy style with close friends and family. Thanks to all who came to celebrate with us - especially Grandma and Grandpa Dobrowolski who came all the way from Palm Springs!!! Yee Haw! And on Sunday we tasted wine and had lunch at some of Willamette Valley's greatest vineyards. Great times.

Eventful Wednesday Night
I had a really interesting evening last night. Picked up Quinny from daycare and he played all day - no naps. So when he got in the car he sacked out. When I pulled into the driveway at home he was still so peaceful, that I didn't want to disturb him. So I pulled out a magazine and called Cami for a chat. After a while (10 - 15 minutes) I decided that I had better get inside to tend to the doggies. I left the ignition on to keep the car cool while I walked across the street to get the mail (I do this every single day). I came back to the running, parked car and leaned in to turn off the ignition and as soon as it was in the off position, the car started to roll backwards. I clung to the car door and threw half of my body under the steering wheel to hit the brake, but it didn't work. The ebrake didn't either. At that moment I looked up (still clinging to the door and being drug down the driveway into the street and one of my neighbors was driving and was upset that I was going to pull in front of him - He flipped me the bird and continued to go behind my moving car - screeching. He barely made it and we continued across the street and bounced off the mailboxes. Then the neighbor slowed down for a minute and then just sped off. The nerve!
I then got into the driver seat and put the car into drive and pulled it back into the driveway, set the e brake and had a good cry. Every muscle in my body hurts today and I've got some pretty good battle wounds. Quinn did not wake up and Cami was with me through the whole experience. I had Adam drive the deathtrap to work today for some diagnostics. That said, the Tahoe doesn't even have a scratch, but the mailbox I hit is pretty much destroyed. I'm stopping off at Home Depot today to purchase a new one for our neighbor. Hoping for a less exciting day today.

Happy 4th of July Weekend
I took a long weekend and spent some special time with my Quinn. We worked and played really hard. We worked at the store and went for several swims in the water off the boat and off the shore. Adam finally caught up with me at the big 33 years of age. We enjoyed a mellow family dinner with one GREAT cake.
Missed the fireworks this year, but enjoyed some quality time with a sleeping Quinny, talking Layla and freaked out dogs in the basement. I wouldn't have changed a thing.
Quinn is now 11 months old. Only one more month until he's one. We're in the process of planning his buck-a-roo party now.

Splish, Splash, Takin' a Bath!
Quinny is almost 11 months old now. I can hardly believe how much he's grown. No longer frustrated, he is now all over the house - crawling up a storm. Yesterday he managed to pull his highchair on top of him, letting us know that we have a long way to go before our home is truly Quinn-proofed. Here are some pictures from last night, taking a bath.
