Home Sweet Home & Sleeping Well
We're all back home now and sleeping sound. Even Mr. Quinn is sleeping all the way through the nights - 9 p.m. to 7 a.m for the past 3 nights! It's amazing how much you appreciate sleep when you haven't had it for a few months. Right now, he's wrapped in "Blue", his favorite blanky and is snoozing peacefully in the middle of the living room floor. He played, talked and laughed until he finally just gave up and passed out right in the middle of it all.
Quinn's First Visit to Caliornia
Better than Disneyland, Quinn got to go visit Grandma and Grandpa Dobrowolski in Palm Springs. Meeting me after a long week at a convention, Adam and Quinn came to Long Beach and we drove together to the desert. Brave Daddy brought the baby down all by himself. What a man!
We also got to meet Great Grandma Pauline, Aunt Kelly and Uncle Dave while driving through Burbank. It was my first time meeting this extended family and we all had so much fun. Such a wonderful family we have!

Quinn waiting to get back on the plane... Cool dude.

Checking out her cute Great Grandson, Pauline

Daddy and son at the Flea Market in DHS. We munched on pineapple tamales, ribs and polish sausages - not on the diet, but oh so delicious!

2008 In Review
Wow! It's 2009. 2008 flew by, but will always be remembered as a very special year for me and my family. We were expecting a child, we lost our beloved Grandpa Paul, Paul and Chona got married and had a baby, we had very special visits with family and friends in Oregon, Mom and Dad turned 60 and one of our greatest achievements in life entered the world in early August.
Quinn has forever changed our world. Life is now scheduled around feedings, diapers and naps - far from the reality that we lived one short year ago. Although this daily routine sounds far from glamorous, the fulfillment that Adam and I receive from these new responsibilities is above and beyond any reward either of us have ever received. We love our new titles as mom and dad and look forward to all the new developments 2009 will bring.
Whenever we are down, we can take one look at our little sunshine and see just how far we've come and dream about what our futures hold. What a wonderful life!
